FIGURE 8 RULES 2011

1-Min. Wheelbase 108 inches, all cars must be same make and model per car brand

2-Leaf spring cars must retain all stock frames front to rear and cannot connect frame rail underneath car

3-No X-in of frame in any cars underneath period

Bodies

1-Any bodies are allowed except for open wheel bodies

2-Wings are allowed on car but cannot block any door windows, and cannot be any taller than 80in from top of wing to the ground

3-Must have a front firewall and rear firewall of some sorts and will be checked by tracks tech

Suspension

1-All A-arms must remain stock type for that make and model of car top and bottom but can be cut for camber adjustment

2-A-arms must be mounted in all stock location on frame unaltered

3-Racing springs and shocks are ok but shocks must be stock mount shocks and must mount in unaltered mounting on frame front and rear

no adjustable shocks.

3-Adjustable buckets are ok on front, wedge bolts ok on rear only or spacers must be used on rear

4-Must run stock rear-end for that car and retain all stock trailing arms top and bottom, all mounting points on car frame must be stock and unaltered for that car.

5-Can run a 9in floater but must mount all trailing arms, springs and shocks back in stock configuration and must add 50lb for this rear-end

6-Must run 4 wheel brakes

7-Must run all stock steering components except for steering shaft and steering wheel

8-Must run stock sway bar in stock mounting and location

Wheels and Tires

1-Steel wheels only maximum width 8 inch's

2-Track tire Towel City Recap blue dot horizontal pattern on tire

Engine and Drive train

1-350 Chevy or 351 ford max. bore .060 must weight 3300lb

2-400's motors must weight 3500lb

3-All Motors must retain all stock type parts such as block crank and rods, Crank cannot be any lighter than 50 lbs and the rods must not be any lighter than 540 grams, Crankshafts can be balanced but cannot be lighten in any way or knifed

4-Pistons cannot extrude out of the block. Must run stock OEM blocks no Darts or Bowties ext.

6-Must run stock stoke crankshaft in all engines.

7-Can run 2 or 4 valve relief pistons, no dome pistons

8-Heads must be a stock OEM production head with no lager than 2.02 intake valve and 1.6 exhaust valve. NO porting or polishing of any kind

no bowties or dart heads are allowed no aftermarket heads, can run guide plates and screw in studs and stud girdles, but must run a stock rocker arm no roller tips of any kind.

9-Can run aluminum intake, no porting or polishing of any kind

10-Must run a stock 4412 Holley 2 barrel only thing you can remove is the choke assy. There will be a track swap rule enforced by the track

12-Can run headers But must be under the chassis type headers and must be 1 5/8 headers no stepped type and can be claimed for a 150.00 dollars anytime by any driver in that class. Any car that runs cast iron exhaust can deduct 50lbs from total weight.

13-Must run a hydraulic cam only. No rollers or flat tappet cams of any kind.

Transmissions

1-Must run automatic transmission and must run a working torque converter. No smaller than 10in in diam.

NO DIRECT DRIVES!! No lock up torque converters, no TCI stepped converters, no internal or external hoses of any kind in or on the transmission, these rules will be strictly enforced!!!!!!

Specs.

1-All motors must be mounted in stock location

2-Cars cannot be any lower than 6in on any corner of the car with the driver in car

3-Must run racing belts, seat and fuel cell.

4-All cars must have at least 4point roll cage in the car with 4 door bars on driver side and 3 on passenger side. Can run bars throw the front and rear of car

5- No cutting of frame as far as to shorten or widen of frame in any way frame must remain STOCK!!!!!!
